Solution 9: Set Date and Time to automatic on Mac.
If you have a different account on iPhone and Mac, it creates conflict to sync, but you can resolve with the Automatic Date and Time and it Will fix iMessage Not Working.
Check for Message Forwarding is Enabled on the iPhone or iPad.
You have to ensure that you have enabled SMS text message forwarding for iPhone and the Mac. It is essential because you were allowing iMessage to replay SMS text message without your iPhone through Message. If this not enabled on your iPhone, then you have to enable because you can’t enable this setting from Mac. Not to mention, you can’t enable Android users.

To receive or reply using iMessage on Mac then your iPhone and iPad need to active. Whereas, If you still get an activation error, then there might be an issue with the Apple iMessage server. You need to wait for a couple of minutes and try again because that time Apple might working on their server.
Check iMessage & iCloud Setting
Sometimes, it an obvious error if you are getting “Not Send” promote error then Log-in to iCloud and enable the Message and Configure from the Message app on your iPhone. Also, try again by clicking on ignore as many times it appears. Eventually, the error message disappears, it happens because sometimes it un-synced iMessage, but once it synced again, it starts working as usual.
Check for Third-Part Software.
If you have installed a firewall, Security, VPN or any other third-party networking software, then it could block any of the network ports used by iMessage. Then you have to disable that software and then try again using your iMessage.
Test with another user account on your Mac.
Sign-in using another Apple ID, you can add another Apple ID from Administrator account if the issue doesn’t happen with other Account than there might be changes in your account setting or files. Check your account and setting. If you find the same result over then, then try using Safe mode to resolve the issue or check for software or hardware issue.
